First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested a drug called MN-001 in 15 people with moderate to severe idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a disease that causes lung scarring and breathing problems. Participants took either MN-001 or a placebo twice daily for 6 months, followed by an open-label phase where everyone could receive the drug. The main goal was to see if MN-001 could improve lung function, measured by forced vital capacity (FVC), and to check its safety.
