Summary
This study looks at whether certain gene variations (MMP-2 and MMP-3) influence how well the bone around a tooth heals after a root canal. Fifty adults with chronic tooth infection will receive standard root canal treatment and be followed for 12 months. Researchers will compare genetic markers with healing results to see if genes play a role in recovery.
