First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a new device called MitraFix for people with a severe leaky heart valve who are too high-risk for open-heart surgery. The device is placed through a small tube in the leg. Researchers want to see if it is safe, if it can be placed correctly, and if it reduces the leak and improves daily life. Five adults will be followed for one year after the procedure.
