First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a natural teeth-cleaning stick called Miswak can help children with a condition called Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH), which causes weak, sensitive teeth. About 30 healthy children aged 6-12 will either use Miswak or fluoride toothpaste to see which better controls tooth sensitivity and prevents cavities. The goal is to find a simple, natural way to manage this common dental problem.
