First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether mirror therapy can improve arm movement and reduce pain in people who had a stroke. 72 participants with a first-time stroke and arm weakness will use a mirror to create the illusion that their affected arm is moving. The goal is to see if this simple, non-invasive technique helps the brain recover motor function and ease discomfort.
