New hope for diabetic nerve pain: mirogabalin trial launches

Summary

This study tests whether the drug mirogabalin can reduce nerve pain and improve quality of life in adults with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. About 78 participants will take either mirogabalin or the standard drug pregabalin daily for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if mirogabalin is safer and more effective at easing pain.
