First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether the drug miricorilant can lower the amount of fat the liver produces in people with MASH, a serious fatty liver condition. Eight adults with MASH will take the drug for 6 weeks, and researchers will measure changes in liver fat production and overall liver fat content. The goal is to see if miricorilant is safe and effective enough to move into larger studies.
