First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study aims to find the smallest amount of lidocaine (a numbing medicine) needed to successfully block nerves in the arm for surgery or pain relief. The goal is to use the least medication possible while still achieving effective numbness, which could reduce side effects and improve safety.
