Summary
This study tested a less invasive surgical technique for placing a Ponto bone-anchored hearing implant. It involved 52 adults with hearing loss across Europe who were already scheduled to get this type of implant. The main goal was to see how successful the implant was three months after surgery, checking if it stayed securely in place and healed well without pain or skin problems.
