This study looked at whether a gentler type of anesthesia (minimal-flow) can help prevent confusion or memory problems after surgery in older adults. Researchers followed 90 patients aged 65-85 who had planned surgeries. They measured thinking skills before and after surgery to see if longer operations under this anesthesia led to more cognitive issues.
