Shoulder surgery in a Doctor's office? new Mini-Optic procedure tested
NCT ID NCT05370183
Summary
This study is testing a new, less invasive way to perform a common shoulder procedure. It compares cutting a painful biceps tendon using a tiny camera in a doctor's office versus doing it in a traditional operating room. The goal is to see if the simpler office procedure works as well for pain relief and recovery while being more convenient and potentially less costly.
