Summary

This study tests whether a telephone-based mindfulness program can help Black women with high blood pressure lower their blood pressure and reduce stress. About 300 women from the Jackson Heart Study will join either a mindfulness group or a support group over Zoom. The goal is to see if mindfulness leads to better blood pressure control and less stress after 6 months.
