App-Based mindfulness could soothe anxiety in seriously ill seniors and caregivers

Summary

This study tests whether a mindfulness program delivered through a mobile app can help reduce anxiety in older adults (60+) with serious illnesses like cancer or heart disease, and their caregivers. About 162 participants will use the app at home. The goal is to find a simple, accessible way to manage anxiety without medication.
