Brain-Targeting combo therapy tested for youth depression
NCT ID NCT07464886
Summary
This study is testing whether combining a mindfulness-based therapy with a supplement called N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is better than either treatment alone for helping teens and young adults with mild depression. Researchers want to see if this combination changes brain chemistry and connectivity in ways linked to feeling better. The study will enroll 160 participants and use brain scans to measure these changes.
