Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

virtual mindfulness-based intervention (RECLAIM program)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a simple, home-based tool to help veterans feel less depressed and more connected to civilian life.

What could go wrong

This was a very small pilot study with only 36 veterans, so results may not apply to everyone. The program is still experimental and needs larger trials to confirm any benefit.
