Mindfulness may ease 'Scanxiety' for parents of kids with cancer

Summary

This study looks at whether caregivers of children with cancer feel anxious before imaging scans (called 'scanxiety') and if a mindfulness program can help. About 160 caregivers will take surveys and some will learn mindfulness techniques. The goal is to see if this simple, non-drug approach can reduce stress.
