First seen Dec 09, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether an 8-week mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program can lower stress and improve quality of life for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Researchers will compare 70 adults with mild-to-moderate IBD who take the MBSR course to those receiving standard care. The goal is to see if mindfulness techniques can reduce anxiety, depression, and gut inflammation.
