First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests an 8-week mindfulness program for 100 adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who have trouble sensing when their blood sugar drops too low. The training includes body scanning and mindful eating to help them notice early warning signs. Researchers will check if this approach improves symptom awareness and reduces severe low blood sugar events over three months.
