First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at how stress-reduction classes affect brain function in adults with autism. About 108 participants took either a mindfulness class or a relaxation class for 8 weeks. Researchers used brain scans and surveys to see if feeling less stressed changes the brain. The goal was to learn more, not to test a treatment.
