First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a 5-week mindfulness-based art therapy program could help nurses working in an earthquake-affected area. 44 nurses took part, with some receiving the therapy and others acting as a control group. The goal was to see if the therapy could reduce emotional struggles, burnout, and improve mental flexibility. Results were tracked before, right after, and at 3 and 6 months.
