Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone-based mindfulness program can improve quality of life for teens aged 12-17 who have had a mild concussion within the last 48 hours. Researchers will enroll 362 youth from emergency departments and compare those who use the app to those who receive standard care. The goal is to see if this low-cost, accessible approach can ease symptoms and speed recovery.
