First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This completed study looked at 30 people with Alzheimer's disease and 30 healthy older adults to see if following the MIND diet (a mix of Mediterranean and DASH diets) is linked to lower rates of depression and malnutrition. Researchers measured diet, weight, blood tests, and mental health questionnaires. The goal was to understand connections, not to test a treatment.
