First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at inflammation in the pulp (nerve) of teeth affected by Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH), a condition that causes weak enamel. Researchers collected blood samples from the pulp of 85 teeth in children aged 8-13 and measured levels of inflammatory markers. The goal was to learn more about how MIH affects the tooth's inner tissue, which could help improve future diagnosis and treatment.
