Summary
This program provided access to an investigational drug called mifomelatide for adults with advanced pancreatic cancer who were experiencing severe, unintentional weight loss (cachexia) and had no other good treatment options for it. Eligible patients received daily injections of the drug for up to 13 weeks while continuing their standard cancer care. The goal was to see if the drug could help manage this debilitating symptom.
