First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a special microscope during a tooth nerve treatment (pulpotomy) can lower pain and improve quality of life afterward. About 82 adults with deep cavities and tooth nerve pain will be randomly assigned to get the procedure with or without the microscope. Participants will rate their pain at several times over 72 hours and fill out a quality-of-life survey.
