First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study aims to validate a microRNA signature that could better classify thyroid nodules with uncertain results from standard needle biopsies. Researchers will compare the test results with ultrasound and final surgical tissue analysis in 71 adults. If successful, this approach could reduce unnecessary surgeries for benign nodules.
