Blood test hope for liver cancer diagnosis
NCT ID NCT02928627
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether two tiny molecules, called microRNAs, found in the blood could help diagnose liver cancer. Researchers compared levels in 10 liver cancer patients and healthy people. The goal was to see if a simple blood test could replace the need for a liver biopsy. The study was stopped early, but the results may guide future research.
