NCT ID NCT06327581
First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether microneedling combined with either lactic acid, vitamin D3, or a steroid (triamcinolone acetonide) can help regrow hair in people with patchy alopecia areata. About 88 participants aged 16 and older with small bald patches will receive one of the three combinations. The goal is to see which mix works best for hair regrowth, measured by the SALT score and percentage of regrowth.
