Gum regrowth battle: microneedling with PRF vs hyaluronic acid
NCT ID NCT07280507
First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This small early-phase study compares two non-surgical treatments for rebuilding the small triangle of gum between teeth (called the papilla) that has receded. One method uses microneedling combined with a concentrate of the patient's own blood factors (i-PRF), while the other uses a hyaluronic acid gel injection. The goal is to see which approach better restores gum height and width with less discomfort.
