New ointment aims to restore skin color in vitiligo patients

Summary
This study is testing an ointment called MH004 for people with non-segmental vitiligo, a condition that causes loss of skin color. About 156 adolescents and adults will apply the ointment or a placebo cream for 24 weeks, followed by a longer safety period. The main goal is to see if the treatment safely helps repigment the skin, especially on the face.
