First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special brain-wave monitor (MGRNOX) can help doctors give less opioid pain medicine during gallbladder surgery. About 112 adults having laparoscopic cholecystectomy will be randomly assigned to standard care or MGRNOX-guided anesthesia. The goal is to see if the monitor reduces opioid use while still controlling pain.
