NCT ID NCT04929951

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a new, non-surgical treatment for shoulder arthritis. It compares injections of micro-fragmented fat tissue (taken from the patient's own belly) to standard steroid shots. The goal is to see if the fat tissue can reduce pain and improve shoulder function better than current care. The trial involves 48 adults aged 25-75 with shoulder osteoarthritis.
