Summary
This pilot study tested a treatment called methylene blue photodynamic therapy for people with lichen amyloidosis, a skin condition that causes rough, itchy patches. Fifteen Asian adults received the treatment, which uses a blue dye and a special light to target the affected skin. The main goal was to see if it could improve skin roughness.
