First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tests if methotrexate, a cheap and widely available drug, can help control Erythema Nodosum Leprosum (ENL), a painful complication of leprosy. ENL often requires long-term steroids, which have serious side effects. The trial involves 550 adults and aims to see if methotrexate reduces the need for steroids over 48 weeks.
