NCT ID NCT07202247

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether time-restricted eating (intermittent fasting) or GLP-1 medications (semaglutide, tirzepatide) can reduce heart risks in prostate cancer patients receiving hormone therapy. About 60 men will be randomly assigned to one of these approaches or a standard heart-healthy diet. The goal is to see which method best protects heart and metabolic health during cancer treatment.
