First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special type of MRI, called hyperpolarized MRI, can predict how well thyroid and head/neck cancers respond to radiation or drug therapy before surgery. About 42 participants will get this imaging scan before and after starting treatment. The goal is to see if early changes in tumor metabolism can guide better treatment decisions.
