Summary
This study tested a new medicine called MET097, given as a weekly injection, to see if it is safe and helps with weight loss in adults who are overweight or have obesity but are otherwise healthy. About 120 people took part, receiving either the drug or a placebo for up to 12 weeks. The goal was to measure how much weight they lost and how the drug moved through their body.
