New combo therapy aims to boost immune attack on mesothelioma

Summary

This study tests adding an immunotherapy drug (atezolizumab) and a personalized vaccine (WT1/DC) to standard chemotherapy for people with a type of mesothelioma. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and helps the immune system fight the cancer better. About 15 adults with epithelioid malignant pleural mesothelioma will take part.
