Summary
This study tested a new vaccine called INO-4700 to prevent MERS, a serious respiratory virus. It involved 192 healthy adults who received either the vaccine or a placebo. The goal was to check if the vaccine is safe and triggers an immune response. The vaccine was given as a shot followed by a quick electrical pulse to help it work better.
