Ukraine study tests new ways to treat depression in methadone patients

Summary
This study looks at the best ways to add mental health care for depression into clinics that provide methadone treatment for opioid use disorder. About 1,350 patients from 12 clinics across Ukraine will be followed for two years. The goal is to see if training doctors and offering incentives helps more patients get screened, start, and stay on antidepressant medication.
