New telehealth program aims to ease trauma for ICU families
NCT ID NCT07390786
Summary
This study is testing whether a telehealth mental health program is practical and helpful for family members of people who survived a serious illness in the intensive care unit (ICU). About 150 family members will be randomly assigned to either use a special online support platform for 6 months or to a comparison group. The main goal is to see if the program is easy to use and if it helps reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress.
