Can weekly therapy ease the emotional burden of pancreatic cancer treatment?

NCT ID NCT07124611

Summary

This study is testing whether adding mental health support to standard cancer care helps patients with early-stage pancreatic cancer. Sixty patients receiving chemotherapy before surgery will participate in four weekly video therapy sessions with a psychologist. Researchers want to see if this approach is practical for patients and if it improves their quality of life and reduces anxiety during this difficult treatment period.
