Can a 48-Hour psychiatrist visit replace the ER for mental health?

Summary
This study looks at a new system called 'med@psy' that helps people see a psychiatrist within 48 hours, instead of going to the emergency room. Researchers will compare how many people get ongoing mental health care one month after using the new system versus after an ER visit. About 418 adults with psychiatric needs will take part to see which approach works better for follow-up care.
