First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether the phase of a woman's menstrual cycle changes how her body processes fat after eating a high-fat meal. Twelve healthy women will eat the same meal twice—once in the early follicular phase and once in the mid-luteal phase—and have their blood tested over six hours. The goal is to understand if fat metabolism differs between these two phases.
