Summary
This study looks at how changes in hormones during menopause affect the body's 'fight or flight' nervous system. Researchers will give a medication to control hormone levels in 80 perimenopausal women aged 40-58, then measure nerve activity and brain scans. The goal is to understand, not treat, these changes.
