First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding low-intensity resistance exercise with blood flow restriction (BFR-LIRE) to standard physical therapy helps people who had meniscus surgery. 36 adults with knee pain participated for 8 weeks. The group that did BFR-LIRE showed improvements in muscle strength, pain, and fear of movement compared to standard therapy alone.
