Ancient poetry, modern hope: memory training trial launches

NCT ID NCT07463391

First seen Mar 15, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a 6-month program of reciting Chinese classics can improve memory in people aged 60+ who feel their memory is slipping. Sixty participants will be split into two groups: one does the recitation training, the other does not. Researchers will use brain scans, EEG, blood tests, and gut bacteria analysis to see if the training changes brain activity and memory.
