Summary

This study tests whether taking melatonin daily can help pregnant women with gestational diabetes better control their blood sugar. 150 women will receive either melatonin or a placebo from diagnosis until delivery. Researchers will measure changes in fasting blood sugar and other markers to see if melatonin provides added benefit beyond standard care.
