Can common stress pills boost cancer treatment?

NCT ID NCT05968690

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether adding two common, low-cost drugs (naltrexone and propranolol) to standard immunotherapy is safe for people with advanced melanoma. The idea is that blocking the body's stress response might help the immune system fight cancer better. Researchers will enroll about 12 patients to find the safest dose and check for early signs that the combination works.
