Summary
This study aims to understand why some people and families are more likely to develop melanoma, a serious skin cancer. Researchers will collect medical history, blood or cheek cell samples, and skin samples from up to 3,000 participants with a personal or family history of melanoma. The goal is to identify genetic and environmental factors that increase risk, which could help with future prevention and early detection.
